Syn dan Zacky Rilis Gitar Baru untuk 2012

Pabrikan gitar yang mensponsori Synyster Gates dan Zacky Vengeance, yaitu Schecter Guitars mengumumkan bahwa mereka akan segera merilis dan memasarkan gitar baru Zacky dan Syn pada tahun 2012 ini. Schecter akan merilis gitar Synyster Custom-S dan ZV 6661pada bulan Januari ini. Sementara gitar Synyster Custom dan ZV Custom Reissue akan dirilis dan dipasarkan ke sekitar 150 negara di dunia pada bulan Maret mendatang. Synyster menyatakan, "Aku benar-benar senang untuk mengumumkan bahwa saya akhirnya bisa merilis semua gitar aset yang sangat berharga untuk permainan saya. Ini disebut Sustainiac dan itu menambah kedalaman dan nuansa yang luar biasa untuk permainan saya serta pendekatan saya untuk orkestrasi lagu. Saya menggunakannya live di studio dan kemungkinan-kemungkinan yang dimilikinya tidak terbatas. Aku benar-benar sangat cemas mendengar semua tanggapan keratif kalian tentang alat yang tak ternilai harganya ini. A7X Sukes Tampil Memukau di 48 Hours !!

Avenged Sevenfold berfoto sesaat sebelum tampil sebagai band utama di 48 Hours Festival kemarin.

Kemarin, Avenged Sevenfold baru saja menyelesaikan konser mereka di 48 Hours Festival. Avenged Sevenfold yang menjadi band utama di hari pertama 48 Hours Festival sukses menggetarkan suasana di arena festival. 48 Hours Festival adalah festival Rock 'n Rollterbesar di dunia yang digeber di Luxor Festival Ground, Las Vegas, Nevada, AS selama 48 jam nonstop. Avenged Sevenfold yang tampil sebagai band utama membuka konsernya sekitar pukul 23.00 waktu AS. avenged Sevenfold sempat dikhawatirkan batal tampil di festival ini dikarenakan kondisi M. Shadows yang kembali mengalami gangguan pada suaranya hingga A7X pun membatalkan konser mereka di hari terakhir UPROAR Festival 2011 yaitu di Mountain View, California, AS sehari sebelum konser ini digelar. KLIK 'BACA SELENGKAPNYA' UNTUK BACA LEBIH LENGKAP!

Happy Birthday Zacky Vengeance

             

              Hari ini tepat 11 Desember 2011 adalah hari ulang tahun ke-30 bagi gitaris kesayangan kita, yaitu Zacky Vengeance. Ya, gitaris flamboyan bernama asli Zachary James Baker ini dilahirkan di Huntington Beach, California, AS tepat pada 30 tahun yang lalu. Zacky adalah seorang gitaris kidal yang belajar gitar pada ayahnya yang tidak kidal. Di awal karirnya, Zacky pernah tergabung dalam band 'Mad Porno Action'. Sayangnya, band ini tidak mampu meraih kesuksesan dan popularitas, sehingga akhirnya bubar di tengah jalan. Zacky pun sempat frustrasi dengan hujatan dan cacian pada dirinya karena kegagalannya tersebut. Hal inilah yang membuat Zacky dendam dan termotivasi untuk terus berkarir dalam dunia musik. Zacky pun akhirnya mendirikan band Avenged Sevenfold pada tahun 1999 bersama M. Shadows dan The Rev. Lantas, Zacky pun memilih nama panggung 'Vengeance' atau dendamuntuk membalas perlakuan orang-orang yang menghinanya tersebut. Dan terbukti, kini ia memiliki karir yang gemilang bersama Avenged Sevenfold

         Dan pada ulang tahun kali ini, tampaknya Zacky akan kembali mendapat surprise dari para personel maupun fans A7X. • Zacky belajar bermain gitar menggunakan gitar nenek dan kakeknya, tetapi gitar itu menggunakan tangan kanan, sedangkan dia kidal. Dan diapun membuat gitarnya terbalik agar bisa ia gunakan.


• Rokok kesukaam Zacky yaitu Marlboro Merah. Begitu pula juga dengan teman satu bandnya, termasuk SYN.


• Zacky mulai bermain gitar sejak ia berusia 13 dan cara otodidak (belajar sendiri).
